im chewing 2 hours a day with insciors in hopes to upswing my maxilla. any suggestions for my routine i really dont want tmj tho and are there surgerys to fix tmj

dear leftright, even if clenching the jaw so that the lower incisors exert a force that pushes the front maxilla forward, this pressure should be applied 14 hours a day continuously [1]

Theres a 90% chance to get TMJ, no surgery can fix it. I'd recommend max 15 minutes of chewing per day, maybe 25 if its normal gum (not falim or mastic)

I have TMJ, it's not that bad, just clicks a bit.

I have TMJ since as long as I can remember and the only con is I grew up only using my left side of the jaw and have a brad pitt size masseter on my left side and normal on right was so scared of the sound I never chewed with right side
