Can't tell if your upper jaw is too forward grown or whether your lower jaw is recessed

yea idk either my maxilla has good forward growth i think but it just makes my lower third look smaller

first of all its horrendous, same as your skin, and your not “bloated” your just overweight. you cant debloat if your not already lean. get a chin implant, hop on acutane, and lose some weight

i was on accutane it messed up my hormones and i got my hormones tested it showed cortisol being too high and you can look up the bloating it causes

I have the exact same overbite but my mandibule, ramus and hyod bone are perfect idk why

Does your country offer free healthcare? You should go to an ortho they will give you 10x more relevant insights then anyone that is going to reply to this thread

1.5 - 2 years ago I corrected my bite by chewing gum with my incisors. In this way I corrected my bite, I also corrected my posture, thus my neck stopped straining and pulling my lower jaw back.

I also wanted to add that when I eat me, my lower jaw goes back. Therefore, my problem has been solved by 50 percent.

so you’re saying you consistently jut forward to fix the posture but still go back to the overbite when chewing?

Yes, as paradoxical as it may sound. When I eat, my lower jaw returns to its previous state. But when I do not strain it, it goes forward at the level of the front teeth. Also, I strained my lower jaw ALL THE TIME, making a not very prominent underbite, which tripled the help my muscles get used to holding this position. Do not forget to relax the muscles, draw a square shape with your lower jaw (do not be afraid of crunches).

Aye been doing the exact same thing for a year now it does definitely help, it’s a pretty good method for deep bites because like the maxilla isn’t recessed so it just looks normal when the bottom jaw is forward too. In the pictures i used im biting down in the recessed position but when im not it looks pretty normal and i even get compliments for it unlike before. I have no idea if it’s good long term though im thinking of getting invasalign and jutting until then

Listen, this method helped me a lot. Even now I rarely use it because my muscles have already gotten used to this position. I started doing it in October. I wish you success.
