Would you only use GHKCU when your acne is severe with scarring? My acne is moderate inflammation and it’s not the worst but I do have pimples and PIE. Also does it affect your moisture barrier? I’ve heard that pairing it with retinol will kill your barrier.

ghk-cu is only ever useful for post acne scarring

it does not interact with sebacious glands/sebum production

therefore it does not reduce acne itself
