No, im 185 cm tall exactly and when I'm with the left guy in the city he is exactly half a head taller then me, so he is 195cm at least
Are you 185 cm at evening barefoot ? Or 185 cm in the morning with socks or shoes coz there's a huge difference
I'm not doubting your ability to perceive height correctly but sometimes people taller than themself might seem taller from one's perspective (in comparison to you) than they actually are. I myself have experienced this phenomenon and believe the main driver is the fact that our eyes are not at the very top of our body. So if you're looking at someone of your height he already is half a head above your eye level. Of course you're not gonna attribute all of that half of a head to his height but you might do partially.
Im around 186.3 cm after getting out of bed, then measured at noon around 185.2cm, at night im around 184.6cm. Done this couple of days and always ended up the same almost. Measured without shoes
So you're 6'0.5" that guy is 6'3.5" barefoot and 6'5 in shoes
I'm 6'1, noon height is most acurate, if we take night height then every national average falls by one cm, Netherlands would be 183cm instead of 184cm, Germany 179 instead of 180, because height is always measured at doctors office mornings. For instance the danish average is 180.5 cm and it is measured by the danish army in the morning. But this guy is 195cm barefoot because when we both wear shoes my eyes are at his lips
