Everytime I try I can only get the front part of my tongue up, and even then it curls in such a manner, that it is the bottom of the tongue which is touching the roof of the mouth, my tongue is curled inside my mouth, how is one meant to get it to be properly??

Never been diagnosed, I don't have any speech problems though. My tongue looks normal.

As much of the tongue as possible, starting front to back the further back the better.

Usually the front of my tongue is touching the upper gums for max forward placement and then I try to bring the root of my tongue all the way up
