If your goal is to create a better future, to teach as many people as you can, to help as many people as you can, to earn as much money as you can, to fuck as many girls as you can,...

These goals cannot be achieved in your lifetime, there will be still more work to be done

You should have long term mission you truly like to see and then goals that can be measured:
