Basically when I was little (3-4) I was much talented in piano/ tennis especially in tennis. My technique footwork condition was very very on point in tennis and I was sight reading and playing technical peices with good music feel. I Had very good coach and everything but then moved to USA where I slowly stopped everything and my parents stopped pushing it as much( they pushed it but not like I didn’t like it they just never let me stop until then) and now im 14.5( still very young ) and past year I’ve been focused on both nearly everyday but i can never gain those years I missed out l wouldn’t be called talented now just overall average . And I know that no matter how hard I train for next years even tens of years I’ll still be far back compared to others and no miracle could realistically happen. And it’s hard cause I could have been those I’m comparing myself too it was right there. I’m utr 3.5 while not even top 100 kids my age are utr 10, I very struggle on moonlight sonata 3rd while there is 9 year olds fully playing it. Although I like both now very much I just feel like I’m putting all this money to waste for lessons clothes balls equipment sheets etc. But again it’s so hard to realise I could have been at much higher level but no I’m not and I’ll most likely never be
