I’m sure i speak for everyone with fast metabolism when i say TDEE calculators are USELESS!! Calculated me at 2300 when it’s actually at 2900 (calculated with this method)
Ok so this is the simple way to find your maintenance cals so you can accurately start a cut or a bulk
Method takes a week to do.
1. Record your starting weight
2. Eat like you normally would for a week, but in a note track all calories you eat (don’t do ANYTHING different with the quantities you eat) Eat exactly like you normally would!!
2. At the end of the week, record your weight, if it is the same or within a 0.5kg range (water weight can fluctuate), then it’s ok
3. Look at the calories you have eaten all week, add them together and divide that by 7, that is the amount of calories you need to eat every day to maintain your weight.
If you weigh more or less at the end of the week do it again or you can monitor your body fat % as well as your weight and do it until your body fat and weight are similar
