I'm not sure why, but engaging in sports like basketball and volleyball, where there's a lot of jumping and stretching, seems to have an impact. I've known people who weren't very tall as infants, but after participating in these activities, they experienced significant growth. I’d just stay active and don’t do anything to inhibit growth. Also make sure your protein intake is 0.8x your body weight, if you’re not bodybuilding. Eating your weight in grams of protein is junk volume.
