ive got sales interview in two days with 0 experience, but for being barback( basically dishwasher) for 2 months and retail clothes seller for like 2 weeks( my current job, i only get 1 shift a week so if they ask why i wanna leave, ill say coz of that, ill have 1 week's notice). ive also done other stuff like kfc fry chef, dominoes delivery driver and another dishwashing role but didnt put these in as they were for around 2-3 months, dont want to make it seem like i hop jobs frequently. i did another interview today for a similar sales role and fucked it lol, making me realise just how unprepared i am. they asked questions like:
what contributions have you made in prior role to boost performance, sales or customer experience and how u did it?
tell us time u went out of way to improve someone's day?
time you were able to successfully influence some1?
describe prior role where u were nimble and able to adapat to change? what u learnt from this experience?
what qualities u look for in company and why?
how would u sell expensive product?
i rlly want this role, idk how i got shortlisted coz 1000 ppl applied, i think maybe coz i wrote i read cant hurt me by david goggins in resume and ill work for free, only on commission. it has perks like free drinks, company events, commission etc so it looks rlly good and lifefuel if i get it. being successful salesman would be my dream, just imagining the testosterone and alphaness from salesmogging all ur colleagues. i can be like indian patrick bateman bro.
ill be doing door to door cold call selling this product. brutal blackpill, if i was tall and attractive itd be massive halo effect. ugly sales guy= anooying used car salesman stereotype. handsome guy= charismatic seller. but jordan belfort did similar thing and succeeded so maybe lifefuel.
if any1's looking into sales, these look like pre good practice questions also, so feel free to test urself out by replying how youd answer in this thread.
