How to avoid razor bumps?

i've tried all of the advice on youtube shorts, from what type of razor to use to only shaving under a hot shower. i still get razor bumps. they descend me for like 3 days before they go away, but by then i have to shave again

try a one blade and go with the grain first then lightly go against the grain

you need to soften the skin, consider adding a pre-shave balm and a foil razer or traditional razer. instead of those shit triple ones that fuck up the skin.

also add post treatment shit to reduce irritation, icing the skin comes to mind

My barber uses hair clippers to trim me and it does the job
