If in the uk :

- Get GCSEs

Either
- ask local electrician if need apprentice
Or
- go to college and do a BTEC level 2/3 in electrical engineering, and then apply to a company as an apprentice

Top tip :

- if you go the just GCSE route it will be aids, and you’ll get paid fuck all

- if you do a BTEC you can apply to better company, and get paid better with a better future potential

Hope this helps op, you can ask more questions as I went the BTEC route, and now have fat apprenticeship in engineering

Just study programming like every npc.

I hope you’re doing better now, without GCSEs you’re very limited.

I would personally take a year out and try and get a C in the following GCSEs :

English
Maths
Sciences

To do this there are 100s of online resources, and physical books depending on your awarding body. My favourite that I can’t recommend enough is the website cognito.

You would then have to contact local schools, and ask if you could sit the above GCSEs. Most schools should let you, and your local one where you took GCSEs should definitely. They will charge you but it is 100% worth it.

With these GCSEs at C you can apply to do a BTEC at college, and make a way better route for yourself with a lot higher potential earning

If you don’t feel like re sitting GCSEs are an option you’re pretty limited, I’d ask family if they have any connections to the industry or try find someone local that would be willing to take you on.

If you do go with the non re sitting option in the mean time try get some relevant experience either through work experience or self teaching the fundamentals. Use this information to make a little portfolio so that if you do land an interview for an apprentiship you have something to show, and a better chance to stand out.
