is it possible to check your gonion type by standing in front of a mirror, suction mewing, looking up, and checking if the bottom of your jaw warps in or out? is that a realistic way to check for gonion type? Gotta be lean tho. cause for me it seems like they warp inward a little bit, and from the front it looks inward, but when i feel it it seems straight

Idk what the hell you're talking about. Whatever you're describing sounds like your bigonial width is is narrow in relation to your cheekbones.

its not tho, i have a decently wide bigonial width. I'm trying to see if the bottom edge of my mandible curves in or out, hence in/outward gonions.

look at how this implant gives you outward gonions

Hmm perhaps it just depends on the bulk of the masseter muscle? I don't think it's a bone think maybe. Sounds like soft tissue.

look at the implant tho. the implant gives hollow cheeks assuming your lean enough. If your gonions go in, no amount of massater muscle can get you hollow cheeks.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I get where you're coming from now! Thank you for being patient with my slow ass.

Yeah bro just get imaging done if you really want to know. Your second best bet is using your fingers to try to guess. I think there is too much soft tissue in the way to accurate determine such a thing especially if you stretch your neck out (i.e. looking upward) and mew which manipulates muscles in the area.

Is hollow cheeks the goal for here?

so you do get it, great. Hollow cheeks is not really the goal, i kinda alr have them when im debloated cause i have asian zygos. I just want a better, more robust jaw.

I see. This is why the jaw is looksmaxxing worse enemy. It can failo the fuck out of people and it's ridiculously hard and nuanced to fix, even with hardmaxxing. I think there are only a few possible ways to improve jaw:

1. Hope your gonials flare outward (RNG)
2. Hope your masseters are bulky (RNG)
3. Gonial implants.
4. Mandibular implants (Expensive & aesthetically unreliable do to nuances with palate)
5. Weight loss which is tricky if already lean and only enhances definition, not size.

clench your masseter. if the bulge is on the bottom u have outward/flared. if the bulge is top/middle u got inward

is this pretty accurate? what if its pretty balanced? what if my massater insertions are just different

Can you tell gonion eversion from this or no

Hard to tell from these. In most cases I’ve seen, there’s some inward motion at the back when viewed from below, but from the front, the gonions appear mostly outward. Makes sense- there has to be a transition point where the gonions shift into the vertically positioned ramus. Otherwise, everyone would have a significantly flared ramus.

This guy would look ridiculous in real life. No one has natural gonion’s like that.
Looks particularly odd with the highly flat cheekbones.
