Preface: If You're Chad Just Become An Influencer/Actor/Singer

Chads or Chadlites Can Do Well In Amy High Human Interaction Job

Inels and Normies Should Chose The Best Jobs For Them

1. Medicine/Dentistry

Very legit major, you get insane Status & Money,

Its Recession-Proof, and You are your own Boss if you choose the correct Specialty

Its female dominated and high human interaction so probably not the best for inels but then again the benefits are also extremely good,
Chose it if you're passionate about biology and similar stuff i'd say

2. Business Administration

Pretty easy major, good ratio of input vs output, you almost get as much as Engineers but with a LOT less stress & study time

Less study time = more opportunities to start your own business
"International Business Administration " has more females than "Business Administration" so theres also a good ratio there of around 6-7:4-3

Its recession proof if you continue to work in healthcare/food/discounter industry
You also learn it in English and travel alot which is also great

If you want to get into higher level stuff like IB/PE you have to go to a top 20 business university which honestly isnt too hard, just get good highschool grades its easy af in HS

3. Engineering

To simplify ill talk about the big 4
Mechanical,Electrical,Civil,Computer Science & Engineering

Mechanical & Electrical & Civil Pay is honestly not that good and not worth the insane effort - If you chose a good Trade And Get A Few Certificates You Can Easily Become Self-employed and make more money faster that way

However good for inels that want to be isolated and love maths

Computer Science & Engineering - Uni graduates still are paid more than trades but honestly Outsourcing will change it
The low level CS jobs are already fully outsourced to India & China
The higher level & research jobs require insane mathematical and IQ
Like the Quants and AI/Big Data Researcher Guys
If you're high IQ its best put tobuse there

Great for inels too and entrepreneurship

4. Natural Sciences

If You're Inel you ideally want to work in an isolated Laboratory Working Alone amd calculating autistic stuff without fenale interaction

This is only given in Physics and a PHD is needed, but if you're passionate its of course great

Biology and Chemistry are not only worse in terms of career opportunity but also Female Dominated Majors, Maths Too Unfortunately (Except PHD & Insurance Maths)

Im excluding all of the rest like psychology, political science, history, languages, philosophy and law since they're boring and/or pointless degrees

Medicine at a Top 20 Uni

You learn a useful & high status/pay degree while still having the opportunity for IB/PE

Very HighIQ

I would say if you do Law at a top school it can be good, you probably get a job at a top company and make almost as much as doctors. Also lawyers have a halo similar to doctors.

Here in the US, psychology, political science, history, languages, philosophy, etc are only worth it if you know you can become a professor (which is extremely competitive and requires 8 years of school + high IQ + strong work ethic) or if you are looking to go into Med School or Law School and need an easy major.

Unfortunately I live in the US and go to only a top 100 uni so I cant take the same career route. Goldman Sachs/other Finance schools only take students from Ivy League colleges and top schools.

In Europe Oxbridge - medicine would be ideal

Afterwards you could either become a self-employed doctor or get into IB/PE since you went to a target school

Yeah, top companies usually hire from top schools (top 20). However, if you are in a top 100 and really distinguish yourself in there you can still get a job at a top company out of college. Also, your success in college doesn't perfectly correlate with your success in your job, so you might be able to work at a lower company and prove yourself to be a great employee and eventually climb up to a top company.

Physics or CS if high IQ

business administration is the shittest idea especially when you could do basket weaving at harvard to get into ib

Good thread. I made a massive mistake by entering my IT degree. I never coded in my life before university. I never (and still don't) have the interest to be an IT specialist/worker. The field just isn't for me. I just got into the degree because I saw the salary.
However now, I understand WHY it is so high paying. It is generally hard (even for those interested in it), boring and stressful. I'd rather do something less stressful and less paying than work crazy hard for a 6 figure salary. Job satisfaction triumphs everything. I'm planning on switching to a business degree atm. I'm thinking of doing something along the line of Human Resource Management which is paying well above 80k where I live after 3 years of work experience. Definitely looking forward to a specialty and not opening a business.

Business Administration at regular schools is more for the people who dont know what to do but still want to have career opportunity and free time for their own business

your thread is okay, but i think medicine is a shitty career, unless you really love it. biotech is getting big right now, and there's a lot of money in it, but even for biotech you'd be better suited doing mathematics or computer science since a lot of biology is very computational now, and you can always do graduate studies in biology after (but not vice versa)

but i agree that stem degrees are the only useful ones, you like history? go read a book instead of wasting thousands doing a degree on it.
i would suggest the following
Tier 1
Maths, CS
Tier 2
Engineering, Physics
Tier 3
Economics, Finance

Medicine takes a long time, at least 10 years, you will lose much of your youth.
Engineering is only worthwhile if it has high iq, if so, this option is good.
Natural sciences, it looks very boring.
The administration doesn't know the area, but you seem to like this one more.

This is maybe true medicine is so insanely high status & pay it makes up for the lack of mathematical skills you develop there

For IB/PE the only thing that matters is studying at a target school
Medicine at Oxbridge would be chosen over Business/Finance in Bristol

Business is purely for people who legit are low IQ and dont know what they want to do but still want enough free time

Maths/Physics/CS is of course ideal but you need a 140+ IQ to really get a high paying career and produce value

A Good Maths/Physics/CS Major mogs a Good Medicine Major but
A Average Medicine Major mogs an average Maths/Physics/CS Major

fair enough, but if you want to make the real money then i think the degrees i've outlined are the best things to do.
i wanted to do medicine, but its 6 years of med school, then 5-10 years of training, where i'll earn 30k a year and end up with around 80k. that's why i've decided to iqmaxx and do maths/cs at cambridge/warwick/imperial to get 100k+ job with just 3 years of university.

some people won't give a fuck that they are earning shit, working shit, because medicine is what they love. obviously they get status, but getting paid like shit makes it not worth it. i know for a fact if i was rotting in training earning 30k a year, i would be so angry if my friends were earning a lot more a lot quicker than me, and doing a lot less hours

How do you IQ maxx?

Also in EU medicine only takes 5-6 years and depending on the specialty you earn 60k in training and as a self-employed physician its 200-800k

Been looking into it ngl, but I think it is possible with some certain nootropics.
Medicine is way better in mainland Europe, i.e Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland etc, compared to the UK, but STEM earns a lot more at the higher levels, especially in quant funds

Doing school for 6 years learning skills you won't ever need is useless for IB/PE. For IB/PE an easy degree from Oxbridge will do, I checked on linkedin and there's a lot of history students in finance here. Getting into Oxbridge medicine is tough too, so way better to do an easy degree with a better chance of getting in. However, IB/PE might mean you are doing great things in your 40s, but you will look like a wrinkly corpse due to the 100 hour work weeks, and you've got to suck a lot of dicks to reach the top.

The you need a PhD to work in a quant fund is a myth, especially for traders (where the big money is). Traders earn a percentage of the profits they bring to the firm, and the hierarchy is flat and meritocratic in trading firms, compared to IB/PE where there is a hierarchy based on dick-sucking and how well you can play golf with your clients. Quantitative researchs might need graduate education, but who cares, trading is way better.

Its not necessarily useless if you go into Healthcare IB/PE
Its also more about having more options and a good plan B if networking at Oxbridge fails

Yes tbh the competition for quant HF is similar high as the competition for FAANG, a PHD in maths/CS sets you apart from the rest

not really tbh. cambridge maths undergrad ranked 1st in the year who aces the interviews has a better chance than an average PhD, it's better to make your time in school more worthwhile than to do more years of school

Yes maths/CS its all about your performance

medicine/finance is more about the credentials and uni

Just do what you enjoy more

I personally am trying to get into Oxbridge medicine and afterwards Healthcare IB/PE

A reason of this is that i have only an average IQ which is not enough for high level maths/CS

i think i have average iq as well but i am gonna iqmaxx and try to become a prop shop trader. at prop shops theres a lot of opportunities after that. if you are good, a hedge fund will recruit you, or you can start your own fund, or you could start a completely unrelated startup because the people you meet there come from everywhere in the stem fields.

you don't really see proper doctors in healthcare ib tbh, you might want to check out vc or consulting

The REAL answer out of these four options is just getting certified as a medical technologist, specifically Nuclear Med. You don't have to sell your soul to a school (just a bachelor's in a med-related field is usually fine) and then you get NMTCB certified, that process usually doesn't take longer than a year. It's way less education than med school, much comfier work & hours (you're not changing some boomer's bedpans for a living like a nurse or PA) and you still get paid more than nurses or PAs, usually 90k to 100k starting.

Option 1 and 2 are the best since you can specialize and earn very good. you can get a masters degree and go right away to industries and shit and earn 1200 euros/month, I know people irl who told me that.

True. It's either all taught at once at an internship or during the first year of your career in a company. But on the contrary side...
If you look at IT, you must be informed and updated every single moment. You got to keep on studying forever and since there's new tech coming out almost every year, you have to pay and study to earn certifications in order to be a valuable figure in your work-force or the IT/comp science field in general. If you're into this type of stressful lifestyle, good on you, but I heavily dislike this. It's a nightmare for me.
