So if you are an aspie like me and didn't get a normal childhood experience, you'll have absolutely no idea how talking with girls works. I'm still an aspie, but in my small window of experience from the last few weeks, I'll tell you what I've learned.
To start, you look for body language if the girl is not doing anything, or willing to talk. If she's on her phone or earbuds in, don't bother. Prime situation is sitting alone bored.
Then you just ask a PERSONAL (kinda) question. If you ask too professional of a question she will just answer it without expanding any more. If you ask something kinda personal it can turn playful and into an actual conversation.
So you ask a personal (kinda) question. At this point you are no longer in control. If the girl likes you she will make it extremely obvious by carrying on the conversation, showing interest in the topic at hand, being enthusiastic about talking to you, whatever. If the answer back is cold, short, or uninterested, she doesn't fucking like you and no amount of conversing will help you. Calmly walk away.
If she does like you, she will carry the conversation entirely and all you have to do is participate.
That's really it. I haven't learned much more than that but for a person who had to learn this HIMSELF as a fucking ASPIE I think I figured it out pretty well.
