How to cut small pills?

I got 1mg anastrozole but the pills are small. Im not sure how i’d split them if they’re this small

Anyone know?

Also, would 0.5mg every other day be too much? I was considering 1mg every 3 days, but that’d be too unstable. I was looking for a way to keep dosing stable & consistent

Thanks, but even with a pill cutter, quartering the pill wouldnt be possible due to its size

Would it work if I crushed the 1mg pill, dissolved it in 4ml of liquid, and then dosed 1ml daily with an oral syringe? Itd be quick & i dont mind doing this if needed

Would that be more accurate or would it lose effectiveness

Might work tbh but idk. But I've used a pill cutter off amazon for aromasin, which are rlly small aswell, prob same size. I think the only dowside is you loose a bit of the pill when cutting parts off the parts that got too big.

Does it even matter if AI dosing isn’t daily? I know it matters less with exemestane but I’m worried it might be a problem with anastrozole, because I’m considering doing 1mg every 3 days for convenience compared to doing the whole dissolving thing

I just looked it up and the halflife is 30-60h so could work , but maybe half of the tablet every one and a half days would would be better

Ah ok I get why you wouldn't want to use the pill cutter now bc you would have to cut in in thirds, which would not be easily doable right?

I don't know about the dosing with it tho I've only looked into aromasin. I misswrote before btw with eod if you would otherwise be doing a tablet every 3 days, you should be doing half every one and a half days ofc
