I get what you mean about the ex thing I can’t relate to the racial part, since I’m black, but I totally know what it’s like when your ex starts dating a certain type of person and suddenly your feed is full of them (for me, it was emo white dudes). Honestly, the way I deal with it is twofold:

1. Stop thinking of your ex as someone you “own” or who still owns a piece of your life.
2. Focus on improving your own life and keep moving forward it’s really all you can do you gotta keep moving forward or that shit will eat at you bro.

For example, I got really into electronics for aid devices for the disabled people it’s a hobby that genuinely helps others, keeps me learning, and connects me with people (including women) who have values I respect. It also makes it easier not to idolize my an ex as you fill the hole with other things.






Over time, the feelings fade, and eventually, it just becomes indifference.
