i’m on fin for 2 months no difference still diffuse thinning and losing both thick and minutarised hairs. Doctor said i also have sebhorric dermatitis but nothing works, tried every shampoo and treatment. my crown is also thinning and surprise surprise there is a high amount if inflammation there and redness

shave head bhai

use glycolic acid peel and salicylic acid peel, both made by inkey list and shampoo regularly, making sure to use an acidic shampoo like redken acidic bonding shampoo

last week i was diagnosed too with the same type of inflammation, my doctor prescribed me two shampoos and a lotion that i have to apply everyday for 2 weeks. So far the inflammation is diminishing

The shampoos are called Bionit and Ceramol and i was told to wash my hairs every 2 days and alternate between both shampoos, the lotion is called Dermosile and i need to apply it every night for 2 weeks (havent tried it yet). I have saved you 50 bucks from a doctor visit

Have you tried anti-histamines? Like Cetrizine and Fexofenadine?

Did you experience hairloss in the place where you had inflammation?

no haven’t tried those, i’m a diffuse thinner and experienced the inflammation all over my scalp, but on my crown it was a lot more inflamed and i developed a bald patch on my crown

Lay off the shampoo, it might seem counter productive but dont touch your scalp and just wash with conditioner for a month, your scalp will probably be less inflamed i had what was thought to be chronic folliculitis and was being prescribed stronger and stronger topical steroids but doing what i said resolved it
