Ive always been dressing with hand-me-downs from my older brother or even my dad. Even though I have money ive always been the economical kind and really thought that aslong as the clothes cover me and keep me comfortable I dont need knew ones. Ive come to realize wearing shorts in the winter and walking around in T-shirts that have text on them or have graphics that are meant for like more like 6th grades (like cars, sayings, etc..). Is there a way I can dress to fit in more? Ive been wondering if going the 'fashion' route is good where u wear tuff fits, or the basic style (sweatpants/ athletic short (fabletics etc..) a Hollister t shirt...)). I just dont want to look like im stuck in 6th grade. (I also ride my bike to school so the middle school clothing and bike pair make me look like a dork)

i dress however tf i want, stylish and rich somedays. Edgy and cool grundge others, to play to emo girls and fine rich girls alike.

if you cant decide what you wanna dress mainly you should dress very basic becouse its hard to make fun of that and youll save yourself a headache , as in to fit in more im not 100 percent if it would work but not dressing like a retard definetly could aid but its mostly about you man

Don't dress up as a band kid as your main style, get a few polos and use them in rotation with some good trousers

Just dress like everyone else, but try to find some clothes and accessories that stands out so people notice you. For example if a girl in my country wear the most basic stocholm style shit and have isabel marant shoes, she will stand out, and people will notice her and maybe even compliment her outfit.

The thing is most popular ppl around me wear athletic wear and I am in no place to do that (they play sports like baseball, football, soccer and im not a fan of either of those). I play hockey. I like grundge fits and alot of Asians wear that.

Mostly this whole grunge aesthetic came frm low income areas think thrift clothes , loose , careless and androgynous look , Kurt Cobain is a pretty obv example so yeah buy flannel shirts , band tees , jeans , converse etc.
