How to dye hair brown without it turning red-ish?

Anyone know how or what dye to use that will keep the hair dye remain brown? Or how to treat dyed brown hair? I’ve dyed before brown but over time or in sunlight it just became this ugly red/orange colour over time. Any ideas?

Natural is dark blonde-light brown depending on lighting but dyed it some time back cuz I thought it wasn’t dark enough and now it’s turned orange which I legit almost get breakdowns over cuz I fucked up bad, or I might buzz it Idk, natural colour is already showing 2.5 cm on the bottom so I might
