Although it's easier because you're not in public but I think messing up makes more of a problem in turning her away. Like at a party she will just go talk to someone else but if you're on a date I think it can ruin the entire date.
At the same time I dont want to just do nothing so idk, any advice on how you deal with this. I don't think letting her dictate the level of contact will work because she will expect me to make the first moves
