Yeah it's nuts, I remember once seeing an HTN jacked guy with some 350 pound landwhale with an ugly face. Insane he had to settle for that just to get treated right, but I sure wouldn't stoop that low despite me being below his looks level. If she's not attractive enough that fucking her would feel fun instead of like a chore then I don't want it. I don't have high standards either, and my only standards are don't be ridiculously ugly and don't be a complete blob

Selection bias. It’s not even unusual to see looks-matched couples, or even couples where the woman is objectively more attractive than the man.

The only consistent pattern I notice is that tall-ish height becomes almost non-negotiable in cases where the woman is significantly more attractive facially

Nah it's not just selection bias. I see far more couples with the woman uglier than the man, although there are still outliers. What do you consider tall-ish height anyway? I'm 6'0" without shoes on as measured many times at the doctor's and I weigh 165 pounds and even that wasn't enough to ever get female attention
