Shit, honestly what I might consider if I were a school kid is carrying one locked and loaded. I'd keep my mouth shut and never cause no trouble or attention throughout my highschool career that would have me searched. I'd avoid confrontation like the plague just in case it ever went to the ground and someone felt it or it fell out. And most importantly, if a shooting ever did occur I'd try to flee first and foremost. Survival is the game and the only time I'd pull it out is if I were in a classroom and the door was breached by the shooter. I would poise to surprise and execute. My classmates and teacher should be as surprised as the shooter.
