How to find a good haircut?

My plan is to go to the best rated hairstylist in the city and tell him/her to make me look good.
I mean they do this for a living, they should know, right? Perhaps try it a few times over the next year with different people.

How would you go about it?


Cuts from the past. Basically 2 different ones. And Chris Hemsworth hairstyle.


Blackpill knowledge i found:
- have medium long hair -> short or long hair need both a masculine face
- if you have too big upper third, put hair down.. if you have too short upper third, put hair up
-> so i guess i should have my hair down, like 2, 5, 7


ps products for hair..
i have conditioner
and matte paste for forming (basically don't use it but could)

square face:
make haircut more round
or put hair more upwards (also that the top shiluette is also round)

long face:
make sides go more sidewards to make it face as a whole more oval
make hair go downwards to cover big forehead
