Just watched this method (sad we are making methods on how to get hired at shit jobs in 2026)
1. Go on google maps
2. Scan through your area for stores or places you could possibly work at
3. Scan for signs they are actively hiring
Now there’s a difference between “we’re hiring” which is basically just company code for you can waste ur time applying and we can take the application but you won’t ever really get the job
And “actively hiring” which means if you send in a application they will actually read it and consider you for the position
Signs they are not hiring
- low business
If place is never busy chances are they are not actually hiring. If it’s super busy their probably hiring or consider hiring
- any recent job postings
Check if that location posted any hiring info. Something to note is that just cause they don’t post it doesn’t mean their not hiring a lot of times they like to hire within their circle or within their applicants their considering
- it’s a high turnover type job
Basically the shitty kind of jobs such as warehousing, McDonald’s/fast food, etc
4. Then just immediately call
Do like a 30–90 second call. then ask if the manager is there. Once they transfer you to the manager say “hey I was calling to ask if you guys are hiring”
They will probably give you the bs response of yes we are hiring
So then what you wanna do is “how urgently are you guys hiring like are you seriously looking for applicants or are you just open to the possibility”
This is usually when they’ll be honest if they say urgently then try to see if you could come in for a interview.
If they give you any of the following
“apply online”
“Fill out a application”
Etc etc
It’s a waste of time and don’t even bother. Nobody reads the applications and if they do they have thousands of other applicants before you
If they are actually urgently hiring they can get you a immediate interview you don’t need any of the extra bs
Just did this and it actually worked got a interview after 5 minutes
Meanwhile indeed gets me a interview after filing out 90 applications
