How to find the right hairstyle

Ok so im wondering if theres a way to find out which hairstyle would really suit me BEFORE i get it. Or is it just go try and maybe get fucked? Im experiencing for a bit now but i havent found the optimal one for me

i have this fuckass straight thick hair which grows in every direction possible and is very hard to control. Im thinking ab getting a perm like
this bcs he has same colouring and bone structure i guess its just high risk high reward or be ugly for a couple months

I have the same hair type and got the same haircut and it grows so pretty the flaps I’ll have are amazing so go for it Bhai
