Hello ladies and gentlemen
Today we are going to cover a great topic
Fashion

But first, I want to debunk this cope

"Style and fashion doesn't matter!"

Saying fashion doesn’t matter is pure cope. Your face and frame set the baseline, but clothes are the first signal people read before they even notice details - they can amplify presence or make you invisible. Good style frames your body and shows social calibration, which is huge in school/college dynamics. Fashion won’t mog bone structure, but pretending it’s irrelevant is just excuse-tier.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Today, fashion is no longer about suits and ties.
Everyone chooses a style for themselves. We are becoming more and more interested in clothes, because through them, you can show who you are.

But how can you find YOUR OWN style among all this?

1756932911652
1756932927182

Do you prefer classic clothing or street fashion, utilitarianism or minimalism? Bright or dark? What music do you hear and what are your thoughts are?
What is your favourite show? What is your orientation? (jfl :lul:)

Well, that's why I am here to help you understand this rabbit hole. By the end of this threat you will be able to find YOUR OWN personal style, and not one imposed by the masses/social media.

And it all starts here:

Step 1: STUDYING

You can't find your style, if you don't know where to look for it.
And the accessible place for everyone, of course if you are reading this, is your electronical device.
Go to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest would be good too.
Search for pieces you like, save the images you like.
Besides this method, you can do it without internet. Just by going outside and looking around. But it is going to work ONLY if you live in a big city. Observe people who are well or interestingly dressed and remember outfits that caught your attention. But don't be intrusive :lul:

Step 2: ANALYZING

Now, once you have couple of saved videos/photos, you can ANALYZE your collection and highlight the things that come up the most
I will show you an example:

To fully understand your style, ask yourself a few questions:
1) What color palette do these items have?
2) What key elements dominate your collections?
3) What accessories are the most commonly used?
4) How would you characterize this whole aesthetic?

To create your own style, you need to understand what things you like and learn how to combine them.

Step 3: BUY CONSCIOUSLY

Now the most interesting part begins, when you already have inspiration and you are going to make a purchase, but it would be a very big mistake to buy everything.

First of all, choose only those key things, that you will wear. After that, you can expand your wardrobe by adding missing items.
One by one, one piece of each type.
And only when you have already figured out the basic things, you can experiment with new ones.

But before you buy, ask yourself:
1) Does it fit with the vibe you gave your aesthetic?
2) Does this fit into the main criteria, that you follow when choosing clothes? (For example it could be materials, comfort, price etc.)
3) Do you see yourself in this for at least 2-3 years?

If the answer to all these questions is NO, then you should refuse to buy them.

Step 4: DEVELOPMENT AND EXPANSION
As we know, style is a constant evolution.
They way we dressed 5 years ago, will be different from the way we dress in the future.
It's normal that over time you'll want to try something new.
That's why I think it's right sometimes to go back to the step 1, to create a new wardrobe.

Reminder to wear whatever clothes you want to wear.
Fashion is all about self expression.
Do not ruin that meaning just to fit in.
