Whats the best way to fix an mild/slight overbite without causing any recession or with the goal of having a good occlusion? Quite new to orthodontics so sorry if im wrong about the worry of recession.

A slight overbite is normal. If the distance between your upper and lower teeth is greater than 4 mm, then it's time to visit an orthodontist. He will most likely suggest braces or invisalign and sometimes extractions.
