My chin is a little slanted, my jaw is pointing down at different angles and my right eye is higher than my left. I’m pretty sure at least 70% of this is sleeping on my right side for years and the rest could be bad posture and habits during online school or whatever else. Is there any way to fix any of these without surgeries and would sleeping on the opposite side help?

correct me if im wrong but try to sleep on your back more often, fix your posture and chew on both sides equally, if you see a lot of disbalance in the face try to sleep on the other side which isnt as crooked, hope this helps

Is posture just straightening your neck and your back? I am trying to but if I’m not paying attention, I start to slump a little. How do I know if there is a lot of disbalance? In the mirror, I can’t really tell but when I take a picture, it’s very obvious and I could tell with a glance

well for the posture i mean your back and the way you sit long term, neck is also important and im sure there are some things you can buy that hold your back in place just straight, for the face asymmetry i think the best way to check is to take a pic facing the middle and mirroring it continuously until you get an idea of which part of your face needs to be focused on (double check anything ive said since im 16 and im struggling with stuff myself, but im sure its true)

Thanks a lot. Does it mean it’s bad if I can immediately tell where the asymmetry off the picture without mirroring it?

You cant fix it. But by sleeping on your back( if you cant fall alseep doing that, then you can swap sleeping sides each night.) You can prevent it from getting any worse

Is there absolutely no fix to this? Since it shifted one way because I slept on my right side, wouldnt it mean it would be able to shift to the other side by sleeping on my left?
