Usually I’ll get almost 8 hours daily. But recently I’ve been waking up at 6:30 or something no matter what for no reason. It’s break right now so I can sleep however I want but my body won’t. I tell my body to wake up at 9:00 but it refuses to wake up at any time but 6:30 😡. Literally everything wants to cuck me. I’m guessing it’s stress but now I’m not so sure.

3 days ago I started to take a kind of high dose Ashwagandha every day because I thought I had high stress and wanted to lower my cortisol, but now my sleep is so bad it takes 2 hours minimum to fall asleep and I wake up at 5:30 everyday, and then fall asleep once or twice for 1-2 sleep cycles.

How do I fix this??? Right now it’s break so maybe that’s messing me up, but I have school from tomorrow so I have to wake up at 7:30 daily. Should I take the Ashwagandha earlier or stop I don’t get what to do. I’m just trying to get 7-8 hours on weekdays and 9 on weekends.

What I do pretty much every night:

* Exercise during the day you sitmaxxed chud
* Last meal like 5 hours before bed (do even longer if you can), I try to avoid foods before bed that cause my mouth to produce more mucous, less mucous = easier breathing
* Lights off 2 hours before bed, have one dim light on, no screens, listen to podcast if I must have my brain stimulated
* Shower basically as hot as you can tolerate to raise body temperature, then cool bedroom down to like 18-23 degrees celsius or so, the sudden drop in body temperature from high to low is a signal to your body that it's night time and you need to fall asleep

If you don't have air conditioning in your room, but you can afford to get a small, portable ac unit, fucking get one, room temperature can really make or break your sleep

* Chamomile tea (calms you) + a couple grams of Glycine powder (also lowers body temperature)
* Breathe-right nasal strip to breathe a little better
* Cool sheets so you don't wake up too hot in the night

Also, go to a doctor and get a take-home sleep study to check for sleep apnea / anything weird.
