I’m 13 years old (born July 5, 2012), and I have a slight deep bite. It makes my face look puffy and my lower third look small. My teeth are pretty straight. How can I fix it? Can it fix on its own during puberty? Here is a pic.

I can't tell if he's recessed, mandible wise, but he looks fine to me. All this puffiness and lower third looking small is this kid getting obsessed with trying to look better when he already has a nice bite. Still, can't tell unless I see a side

Could be worse but yeah better if you get braces.
Maybe a palate expander too(if your dentist is good it will give it to you.

I have the same but worse. You need braces or invisalign to intrude your lower incisors

I had braces too due to over bite they don't ruin you, opposite, if I didn't take them, it would be beyond over for me.
They costed 5000.
While I'm a bit recessed now I'm surprisingly getting better at even 18 facially.

Brotha braces arent just for straightening teeth. Ideally he should use braces/invisalign rn to fix his deep bite and then surgery in the future if he still hates how he looks. He doesnt need elastics with his braces so it cant affect him negatively or recess him or whatever you may be thinking. Deep bite is diff from an overjet
