Theoretically if thumb pulling actually works it would help, or anything that gives you forward growth and/or ccwr, since the maxilla is connected to the infras(idk all the terminology but ik it's connected), then it will help push them out and give more support, but realistically thumb pulling is most likely cope even tho there are lots who claim succes from it.
