Tbh the study situation is still very modest.

Classically, redness, irritation, itching, burning and rashes may occur after treatment.

In the long term, it is assumed that it is possible that the color can change slightly, pigments change and those who sunbathe will get light patches. I have now watched the video, the problem with the video is that she does not argue scientifically, she claims that the amount and the ingredients are a problem, but without any proof. Anyone who applies make up normally (look at the ingredients there) will put exactly the same into their skin. This pure fear of chemicals is completely unfounded, there are bad and good ingredients, which can be scientifically determined reasonably well, therefore this point depends heavily on the quality of the product. And honestly, if you do not use the best product for your skin, regardless of the price, it is your own fault if problems arise.

Also, I don't mean that you should do it yourself, but go to a specialist. A good cosmetician/dermatologist will set up the ideal treatment together with you and you will then be satisfied with the result.

To your point, it is not only microneedling, it is the combination between active substance and microneedling, to be more precise nanoneedling. It induces collagen and pigmentation through nanoneedling.

But like I said, you have to find a skilled tech who uses top-quality pigments that are stable and can't change their color and then, as I said, use sunscreen.
