I thought your voice kept changing(not dramatically like when you were a teenager) till your late 20s/early 30s.

I don't consider adulthood to be before you're entirely done growing, so mid to late twenties.

but your vocal cords only get thinner with age, which makes your pitch higher rather than lower, that's about the extend of the change naturally.

Mostly genes but you can autisticly try to lower your voice when you to talk to get it simular to that. Smoking might help but it'll take a long ass time and a lot of cigs to ever do anything.
