i want to dopaminemax so i can study better and generally feel like a human being again

what i already do:

reduced sugar intake
no porn / no fap
less phone time (deleted youtube, no social media)
supplements (vit d, magnesium, zink, omega 3)
sports multiple times a week
no phone first hour of the day

any more tips? some swear by sunlight in the morning but im on tret and avoid the sun

I do all of this and some extra like limiting music, reading more ( I stop being dependent on imagery ). I also never use my phone unless necessary, phones are cringe, stop snacking throughout the day.

You have it down pretty much, just maintain. It takes a while. When I need high amounts of focus for a study session, I just turn off the wifi and study in some seperate room dedicated just for that purpose.

I recently nuked all of my social media permanently too

What helped me was getting up super early and getting out of bed immediately. Put my shoes on and go for a 30 min walk, it wakes me up and I can start work straight away when I get back

Also having sex in the morning helps a lot if you live with your gf. Clears your mind for the day, 0 urges ect

Also working fasted really helps. I try and get a few hours done before I have my first meal (excluding protein shake I drink when I get back from my walk). Try and get as much done as early as possible. It becomes hard asf later when you’re tired

It helps with control which downstream to your emotional and physical regulation better. After a while of adding ascetic practices to your life, you will feel more in control in general.

Has helped me a lot. These days people never really are left alone with their thoughts or whatnot since we are constantly stimulated and or fiddling with something. Not being a mindless monkey to indulgence will do wonders.

Same. I have been completely free of porn and masturbation for a while now. That helps a lot, after a while I just found the act of watching porn to be pretty disgusting.

It will improve your mood, these "vices" give you cheap entertainment and they make you overly reactionary.

You can try reading or going for a walk in the morning. I do the first one. The way you start your day is probably the most important thing you shouldn't compromise on

how early are we speaking? i usually wake up at 6:15 on working days and 8:30 at weekends

I wake up at 5am usually but I go to bed early too. I don’t need an alarm clock anymore I just wake up at that time automatically even on weekends

yea true. i normally eat at around 10 am but start working at 7 am. not sure if thats enough time to call it a fast tho

I only sleep like 6-7 hours per night tbh I physically can’t sleep more. I think it’s genetic cause my dad is the same

Feeling rested is prob one of the most important things. Working when you’re tired makes it 100x harder and I’m way more likely to procrastinate

if i went into the sun even with sunscreen I would feel pain in my face
also it breaks down in the sun
so youd have to avoid it anyway

You feel pain bc your skin is more sensitive after using tret, I’m not denying that. My point was tret doesn’t increase the amount of sun damage you take
