My cheekbones are prominent and have good bone mass but could be higher and more outwards.

Ask doctor, you can move your cheekbones higher with zygomatic osteotomy.
which dr told you this

you don't need to be a genius to know this isn't true lmao, just look at the cut made during ZSO. It'd be impossible to move it upwards.

Would ML3 move cheekbones forward and upwards

again, you need to rephrase your question

MLF3 is a rotational movement so theoretically yes. But you need to try and understand what you're actually ASKING at a SKELETAL level. Describe it with pictures.

Is this the kind of rotation that you are describing (rotating the mobilized area outwards and forwards with the eyeball as some kind of pivot)?

If it is like this (or something similar) then from the frontal malar region would appear more prominent closer to the eyes, but since the portion of the zygomatic arch that extends back to the ear can't be moved, nothing is moving higher?

yeah that's pretty much the MLF3 cut. Mobilised section can be rotated out and up slightly. This makes very little difference to the surgical procedure as HA paste is used as an inlay regardless.

You're correct regarding the zygomatic arch. I've seen screenshots of surgical procedures to mobilise it but I'm unaware of a Dr. that performs such a procedure. If one exists I feel like a lot of people would benefit from it, but IDK if it'd require a coronal.

Interesting.
Also what is coronal growth?

im referring to a coronal incision

but I read some papers & it's not required. They can make the cut inside your mouth or just behind your ear
