how to get palate expander?

I was thinking about going to the dentist to ask about getting a homeoblock appliance and palate expander or either one but I wanna know if theres a certain way to go about this because I doubt it would just get handed out, also wanted to know if insurance would cover oral appliances like this.

i assume op is not 12 this would not work and its purely a scam
to get MSE or another palate expander you would need to consult an orthodontist and if you have problems he may offer you the solution and treatment plan himself. You can just go ahead and ask him for it anyway though
Palate expanders NEED to be screwed into your maxilla , its no good overwise , most maxilla ortho appliances in orthodontist office work the same
