u are just sticking ur skin with needles. Its selling point is to boost collagen thus clearing scarring, but it simply doesnt do that if u care to look into it. Another bad side is swelling that will most certainly happen if ur already on tretinoids

I had microdermabrasion (6 sessions) for mild scarring and would highly recommend. If you have pitted scars then you should get laser skin resurfacing.
