tryna kpopmaxx, really close but beard shadow nearly fucks it all up. I only look good within 1 day of shaving till it starts growing back. not sure if its doomed without BB cream or concealer

no much you can do except laser it off

I like to shave down, across and then up but be careful when going up as you can get a lot of cuts if you are not careful so angle the blade slightly away from you.

I soak the blade in hot water, idk if it does anything and put the water on my face first before using shaving gel, imo gel is better than foam.

also feel your hairs, basically running your hand back and forth against your face, the side where it feels rough is against the grain, you shave in the direction last, it will usually be upwards but could be sideways or at an angle.

.

I am dumb you want to kpop max so you are asian, shouldnt it be easier for you as asians usually have less facial hair.

I usually do along and across only. My problem is that I have been using those disposable razors so I ordered a safety razor on amazon, some pre-shave oil and some after-shave balm. I'm not sure if using a trimmer/micro-trimmer on the 'stache makes the skin less irritated and gray? either way it's not too bad but the slight grayness after shaving ruins the full smooth skin look.

you gotta go against the grain aswell to get as close to smooth as possible.

by the grey do you mean the amount this guy has at the end? feels impossible to get less than this its due to the hairs being visible through the skin as they are dark. Shows up more if you have light skin and dark hair.

typo meant to say along and against. and yeah my moustache area is about the same as his after shaving. I have a bit of a golden tan on top of black hair btw.

thing I am wondering about is the strokes or motion, ive seen some who just do short ones repeatedly and others like in the vid where they just do one big one, i have tried both and idk what difference it makes in the end.

As an addition to this, what makes your razors dull is the water drying out on them, if you put your razors into something like cleaning Alcohol/isopropyl whatever, it will evaporate quickly and your razors will be sharper longer resulting in less razorburns, longer lasting razors and a smoother cut if you decide to go against the grain

You have to Laser them of, or if you only have a very small amount I've seen Asian TikTokers tweezer the remaining hairs off. (I do this as well, but only the hairs that go above my beard line)

bro dont ever laser your beard. You will need it once you grow older and have to look masculine. Shaving rn is annoying but u will thank your beard genetics later in life
