I have no more acne ( done accutane ) but my skin is still overly red and hot to the touch.
It may be tretinoin irritation but it’s been 3 months or so.
My mom has rosacea so I may have it too, is there a way to know if I have it and how to heal it
Also could tanning ( via mt2 ) hide redness and giving me mogger skin color ( tan and reddish )

Its either rosacea or post inflamatory erythema and the best solution is to wait it out. It takes 6 months to a year to fade but you can always get laser treatment to hasten its disappearance.

Tbh ive never had redness in my life before i got on accutane. After i finished accutane i get little red on between sides of nose and cheecks and little bit on chin aswell if i get in hot temperature. Otherwise it stays normal i think its called flushing or something and there are treatments go on acne forums

Ok good, I have PIE and it is much more unsightly and takes forever to fade. I know there are some creams you can be prescribed if it is rosacea, but the best thing you can do is to use proper moisturizer and sunscreen continuously to prevent further darkening and damage.

moisturizer and sunscreen are cope jfl, I eat enough fat and its good. I'll stop all skincare for a week to see if it works, I'll also use mt2 anyways and see if it ascend my skin

If you have rosacea then you need to look further into treatments specifically for that. Azelaic acid, etcetera

If your skin is red because it’s irritated you can generally fix this easily. I used to have the same problem, Tret irritated my skin so my cheeks often looked flushed/red. Cut back your Tret usage. If you’re doing every night, do every other night. Incorporate more hydration in your routine. Better moisturizer, humectants like hyaluronic acid and glycerin, peptides, etc

you dont need to cut it out but if your face is irritated and red then you clearly need to change something up.

Just try what I said: reduce frequency, hydrate/moisturize better.

Not at all. The sun will cause darkening of red spots resulting in prolonged recovery and moisturizer protects your skin and allows it to heal by minimizing Trans Epidermal Water Loss (TEWL)

I do not think sun is bad for you ( and your skin ) if you are healthy ( meaning you eat enough animal fat ). Tho I will moisturize more cuz accutane

It still causes the darkening of pigment, resulting in prolonged redness
