How to get smooth and shiny hair

I had long hair that got dry easily so i cut it all off cus its the summer and no ones gonna see me bald while im regrowing my hair. I put coconut oil on my hair everyday im hoping for it to regrow back better looking and silky. Anything else i should do bros ??

Lol I don't do shit with my hair and have been blessed with thick smooth hair. The trick to getting that shiny look is to use pomade. I personally prefer oil based over waterbased because oil based holds my thick hair in place.

my hair stays incredibly smooth and subtly shiny due to literally a dab of coconut oil.
after you get out of your shower, lightly pat your hair with the towel until its damp, so not dripping wet nor very wet. Take less than a fingernail worth of coconut oil (make sure its a very light amount, too much will make your hair very greasy) and just massage it in, making sure to target the hairline and the root of your hair. Let the damp hair then dry naturally and done. Your hair will be very, very soft and smooth.

leave it on your hair for few hours and shower.

Mix ur shampoo with some water before applying like handsize and use a conditioner after. Also don’t shampoo every single day. Worked for me

Argan Oil is more expensive but better than castor oil because you can leave in your hair or use it as a pre styler, it also doesn't give the same greasy sticky look as castor oil. Only use castor oil as an over night conditioner. Also castor oil for eyebrows and eye lashes = Easy lookmax.
