How to get toned legs without them getting too big?

I don’t have long legs, so I can’t have them look bumpy. How do I put that bit of muscle on them while still having bigger upper body?

I get toned legs easily and they never become too big tbh. And I just work out with different squat exercises, with or without weights.

A muscle getting too big doesn't happen that easily.
Unless you're roided and only squat 24/7 i doubt it'll happen
 
call me when your legs are too big lmao, get them toned first, it's not like you're accidently going to get huge legs
 
Just do leg extensions
 
Walking keeps them toned
