I have dry skin everywhere and it’s not going away any tips?

Switch moisturizer if needed, get one that’s thicker and heavier. For years I’ve been using the Vanicream moisturizer in the blue pump top tub. La Roche posay moisturizers are good too. Moisturizers with ceramides specifically can also help prevent dryness and keep the skin barrier intact. Make sure your cleansers are as gentle as possible, you can also start using cleanser once a day and wash with just water for your morning skincare.

Use additional ingredients like hyaluronic acid, a drop or 2 of pure glycerin mixed into your moisturizer, Centella asiatica serums, squalane. All these things help hydrate the skin. After washing ur face moisturize while your face is still damp, helps it absorb better.

“Slugging” with Vaseline at night helps a lot. Slugging is where you moisturize and apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly to your skin before bed- just a thin layer, a couple of pea sized drops over your whole face to lock in the moisture. This makes your skin so soft. Be careful that you DO NOT apply Vaseline over active ingredients like tretinoin, it can cause irritation.
