So I'm 14 (almost 15) and abt 3-4 weeks ago I was hitting 6-8 pullups with an occasional 9-10 and my most ever was 13, now I'm hitting 10-11 pullups on average with an occasional 12-13, 13 still being my highest, how do I improve more like I'm trying to reach 15-17 pullups on average

training harder than last time, seems youre progressing anyways keep doing what you’re doing, just getting one more rep than last time and do in sets of 3 till failure

if your goal is number of reps
just vary between some high rep sets and sets where you add some weight with a belt or dumbbell between your legs
consistency is key and its pretty easy

u can even start doing weighted pull ups, slap something slightly heavy to start with in a bagpack

Practice doing more pull-ups… (shocker)

Literally just get a stronger back (more muscle=more strength), it’s that simple. And stay relatively lean since obviously high ass body weight isn’t good for pull ups.

Why do you even care about numbers on a random fucking exercise anyway? I never do pull-ups and just lift and i can do 20-22 pull-ups (with actually good form) at 5’9 185.

Just lift brah

I typically do 2 sets one without weight and one with a 10 lb vest on

Bro ur 135 at 5’9? You need to put on more muscle (obviously). That will shoot your numbers up

You have lots of room to grow. Just hit back hard as fuck and practice doing pull ups like you are (start doing some sets weighted)

the average weight for someone my age is like 120 lbs so I'll def increase in weight eventually

Nigga who gives a fuck about average weight of little 14 year old faggots.

Also 120 is not the average weight brother, im in a class with all freshman and maybe 3/30 are under 130 lb. Stop focusing on other niggas and put on muscle. Thats it.

You need to get on an actual lifting regiment bro. Hitting back every other day close to failure and heavy. 2 sets of pull-ups and 2 sets of rows. 3-8 reps. Maybe even throw in a set of lat pulldowns here and there.

Maybe do a set of weighted for low reps and a set unweighted close to your max amount of reps. Every other day. Rest 5 minutes between and do the weighted ones first. Get to a fucking gym though

Deadhangs combined with pullups so after hanging 30 sec 1 pull up and EMOM training
