How to know if I need decomp before bimax?

Well not every surgeon will have the same plan for you. How’s your occlusion? Do you have bone hypoplasia?

You need a digital dental scan/ teeth model that’s usually done by an orthodontist
You give that 3d model to your surgeon and than you will know for sure since ct scans aren’t good at detecting that

I had braces extractions and elastics so I guess I am in some form camouflaged. However I seem to suffer more from downward grown occlusion plane instead of camouflage orthodontics. Can dm pics and scans if you want.

You go to a orthodontist, they will put some stuff in your mouth and you will get a model of your teeth like the first one, than they scan it in some device and they will have a 3d digital dental model
With that 3d model you find out if you need braces aka teeth decompensation
