I know one major argument against hardmaxxing and looksmaxxing in general is the argument that people with these interestd always lose sight of objectivity due to insecurities and even as they improve their looks it is never enough. There are many cases where people end up spiralling into having surgeries they don't need and then ending up looking worse. I think this can happen pretty easily for normies but there is a way to avoid this.

The best way to avoid this ever happening imo is to have as much objectivity in your aesthetics. Some stuff like health markers, coloring, etc. can't be measured with ratios however for a large part of facial aesthetics, craniofacial measurements can be used to find an objectively ideal range to stay within.

If you abide by these ranges, going over the top is pretty hard to do. If you know more than 92% jaw width (bigonial-bizygo) is not attractive then going over makes no sense - but if you are just basing your actions on your perspective which is often flawed then you may think it is suitable to increase the width further.

Basically my point here is that it isn't an issue if you stick within objective rules rather than make emotional decisions.

This is why you need to consider surgeries from an ROI perspective. Only doing high reward surgeries.

You want to leave behind your friends who helped you?
Reminds me of alcoholics anonymous, they form communities over their crutch. I guess for looksmaxxing it is forming communities over being chopped
