- In general, you should eat less. There have been many studies showing animals on a calorie restricted diet are significantly healthier and live longer. It is theorized that your body switches from "growth mode" to "repair mode" when you take in less calories.
- Exercise. Light exercise is fine nigga. You should be aiming for an absolute minimum of 45 mins per day. Get off your ass, walk to the grocery store and carry your groceries home. Bike or walk to work. Simple things like that can go a long way. If want to be ripped, by all means hit the gym, but there has been very little evidence that super fit people live longer. As long as you are at a healthy weight and do light exercise every day, you should be fine.
- Don't smoke.p bro
- Drink alcohol, in moderation. (kuffar only) Numerous studies have shown that moderate drinkers (no more than 2 standard drinks per day) are healthier and live longer. Wine is best but beer comes in a strong second. Straight spirits are OK. Pre-mixed alcopops are usually frowned upon mostly because of the obscene sugar content. Spirits and 100% fruit juice would be fine though.
- Avoid soda. The sugar or sugar substitutes are just not worth it. Drink water, tea (actual tea, not the bottled sugary iced-tea crap), 100% fruit juice. Coffee is fine as long as you aren't drinking in excess of 3 cups a day.
- Keep your mind active. Aim to do something intellectually stimulating every day. That can be something as simple as doing a crossword or reading a book(QURAN for example ). Preferably you are engaging in a long-term intellectually stimulating activity too, such as learning/speaking another language, creating art, studying a particular area of interest or playing a musical instrument.
- . There are places with a concentrated level people reaching into their 90s or even 100s. These places include some areas of Italy, Japan, and an area of the US (I forget where exactly, sorry!). The thing that all these places had in common were that the individuals were very social. Italians tend to be very close with their family, Japanese people tend to stay physically and socially active as they age, and the area of the US happened to be a super religious place where there was a lot of support from church members and daily meetings. Talk to people. Keep your good friends close,niggas Staying social helps keep your brain active and your hormone levels normal. We are social animals by nature, you have to keep it up into your old age (or start now if you are a recluse...).
