After having a dream that stuck with me for days I started looking into lucid dreaming. If you don't know, lucid dreaming is when you are aware that you're dreaming and able to control what takes place (although it's pretty finicky for you to take full control of stuff).

The Method:
Before you go to bed just remind yourself that if you wake up and you're not in room, you're in a dream. Repeat this to yourself out loud, in your head - whatever you need to do to get it to stick.

BEWARE:
Around 40% of the time when I realize that I'm in a dream my brain forces me to wake up in the middle of the night which kinda sucks and fucks up my sleep. Also, after having a cool dream, waking up feels like shit because you just want to go back.

Other than that, it's really cool to experience and I would rate this a 8/10 cope! Good luck bhais!

Lucid dreams sound nice, but I smoke too much weed and that fucks up my REM sleep.

Yeah, it's not 100% (especially the first few times) but after you get into routine it becomes pretty frequent.

I've tried it, the trick is to set up at alarm which rings 4 hours after you sleep. Wake up for 5 minutes and do something and remind yourself you'll lucid dream, go to sleep. There's a good chance you'll wake up in a lucid dream.

I guess if that works for you go right ahead, but that sounds terrible for your sleep.

I wish I could remember the dreams that I have

The MOST important is to have a journal where you describe your dreams

If you consistently get 8+ hours of sleep and you start to think about dreaming before going to bed you'll definitely start to remember your dreams. I've gotten so deep into this I typically remember three or more dreams each night.

Sometimes, I wish I was a female too, and that a Jewish doctor could come chop my dick off and give me surgery to transition me to the other gender. I would also take HRT to grow breasts.

I thought about doing this but I instead opted to just schizophrenically go through each dream aloud when I wake up.

You cant read it before going to sleep tough 😮‍💨
That would be a really cool thing to have. Especially years down the line, you could have a unique record of the inner workings of your mind. I'll start doing this, thanks bhai.
