Its over for blotcels
I managed to get fairly buffed for my height and now I want to lose fat
Is it even possible to do so without going back to a subhuman frame /body?

Idk, get lots of protein, dont cut too hard, use creatine?? Idk im no expert

just lift heavy shit and eat plenty of protein. Thats it. Yes, it is that simple. Muscle loss is the most overrated boogeyman ever

Keep training the same and eat 150g+ protein per day(depends on how big you are). If you are natty then dont cut calories TOO low either.

what type of cutting are you practicing? are you slicing your wrists or?

just don't do a stupid huge cut. This will slow down your metabolism anyway.

if you're fat as fuck start off by earing 3000 calories a day.

if you're below 180lbs then 2500 calories a day is a good place to start.

fat people have higher metabolisms anyway so you should be trying to maintain the increased metabolism long as you can.

also eat mostly protein. If a meal contains no protein just don't eat it. try get at least 150g of protein a day, ideally from foods that contain a lot of leucine

bad advice to lift heavy while in a deficit

Eat in a caloric deficit but make sure to eat enough protein and keep a close eye on your main lifts to make sure you're not getting any weaker.

Getting weaker = losing muscle mass for natties

you can't unless you are a beginner, but to reduce the effects on muscle, don't cut too hard (keep it under 500kcals deficit daily) get enough protein and train just as well as you did if you were to bulk

According to this study Alternate Day Fasting is superior to daily calorie restriction. With DCR people lost on average 75% fat mass and 25% muscle mass, however for ADF it was 90% fat.

Also calories in calories out is a meme for low-iq meatheads who cant cope without sugar. Cut down on the stuff that gives you big insulin response. Insulin inhibits lipase, an enzym which breaks down your fat storage. Obviously is much more complicated than that but these are the cliffs.

Also disregard everything retards above me said, straight up broscience.

1) Up your protein intake more, 1.5g per lb of lean body weight (when bulking you don’t need a lot of protein due to protein sparing effects of excessive carb or fat consumption so it’s the opposite for cutting).

2) Start with a reasonable deficit , 300-700, 500 is the standard but u can work around from there. You’ll drop 4-6% of ur weight in the first week which will be glycogen and water loss so don’t track until after that happens.

3) Keep the intensity/frequency up at the gym but adjust volume as needed so you don’t end up skipping days.

muscle loss is extremely overrated anyways on a cut so don’t worry. It takes an extreme amount of time and effort to build say 3-4 lbs of muscle as a experienced lifter ur body is not going to trash it

EDIT : 4) Space your meals out with equal amounts of protein in each one if you can, it's been spreading the meals out over 4-5 meals is better for anabolism. Don't do those retarded soccer mom OMAD diets unless u want to suicide cut.

Why not cut on 5000 calories a day?

With Clenbuterol.

That's the honest answer.
