High-yield missions
- Cone Crazy: This is the fastest method for accumulating large sums of cash. Start the mission, complete it, and then try to beat your previous time by at least one second. The reward doubles with each successive completion, so after about 20 runs, you can make millions.
- Vigilante: Use a fast and durable vehicle like the Hunter helicopter or Rhino tank to complete Vigilante missions. The reward is calculated as

= 50x^2$). - Races: After purchasing Sunshine Autos, you can participate in races. Winning the Vice City Endurance Race offers a $40,000 reward, which is a $30,000 profit.
Property and business income
- Empire building: After completing the "Hostile Takeover" mission, you can buy all the available empire plots. Completing missions for each business will provide you with a large daily income, for example, the Malibu Club.
- Small businesses: Start with smaller, cheaper properties like the ice cream factory or the cab company. The income may be small initially, but it accumulates over time.
Other methods
- Hidden packages: Collecting all 100 hidden packages unlocks some of the best weapons and vehicles and provides an additional $110,000.
- G-Spotlight trick: After completing the "G-Spotlight" mission, you can detonate a remote grenade during the cinematic, which can increase the film studio's daily productivity by $7,000.
